Louise offers a varied schedule of YOGA classes from our purpose designed, light filled studio in the Natural Therapies Centre, Sligo. From restorative to pregnancy yoga there is a class for all levels. Online classes and one to one personal yoga sessions are available on request.

Throughout Louise’s career and while deepening her education in natural therapies she was supported by her love of and commitment to yoga practice. She is deeply grateful to the teachers who have in the past and today continue to share their knowledge and wisdom so graciously with her.
Her yoga journey began in the Iyengar yoga tradition under guidance of Helen Gille . With deep appreciation of the wisdom of this system, she cultivated a long time Iyengar practice. Over time Louise felt called to explore other approaches and she felt particularly drawn to the powerful marriage of breath with movement in the Vinyasa Flow style. Eventually she travelled to India to complete teacher training in the Vinyasa system and is certified through Green Lotus Yoga.
More recently Louise has completed two years of study in Subtle Body Anatomy Yoga with Veronica Larsson and is now integrating this deep body mind energy intelligence into her teaching.
She has also continued to deepen her knowledge of the Subtle Body System under the guidance of Scott Blossom.
Additionally, Louise has completed specialised Yoga Teacher training as a Children’s Yoga teacher (The Elbow Room, Dublin) and in Pregnancy Yoga, (Yoga Mama, London) and Restorative Yoga ( Judith Lasater).
Louise is passionate about her teaching and is committed to sharing the tools and trainings that have benefited & supported her.Her classes encourage students to develop a fully embodied practice to enhance their own wellbeing, support their nervous systems and nourish the whole self.

Subtle Body Flow
Subtle Body Flow practice is a mixed level practice that draws from the combination of the Rhythmic breath and movement of the vinyasa system with the deep intelligence of the Subtle Body practice.
These classes are designed to support our bodies and subtle body systems in accordance to the laws of nature and the cyclical movement of the seasons to support our health and well being as we move through the year.
Restorative Yoga is a deeply nourishing, healing and recuperative practice for the mind and body. During each class we will use props and blankets to support the body in simple yoga poses which triggers the parasympathic nervous system to achieve a deep level of relaxation. This calming practice releases tense muscles, relieves joint aches, and transitions the mind and body giving one a sense of peace and calm.
Suitable for all levels, from complete beginner to advanced practitioner
Dynamic Flow Yoga
This class combines the style of Vinyasa Flow practice with Subtle Body Yoga, you will move, breath and come in your body . Utilising the Vinyasa Sun Salutations to link postures together to form threads or mini sequences in a progressive yet strong dynamic practice that encourages the student to move according to their own edge. A fast moving dynamic class, the emphasis is on engaged action. Drawing on the Vinyasa Yoga system where one pose leads to another and we finish with a very short shavasana. Suitable for mixed levels
This class is suitable for complete beginners, those returning to yoga & would like a gentler class. We will explore the relationship between the breath and its fundamentality to the practice, while also focusing on alignment, building strength, flexibility and balance.
Beginners will also be introduced to the vinyasa system of synchronizing movement and the breath, working with sun salutations and gentle flow. A long relaxation is offered at the end to help students time to allow the practice digest feeling rejuvenated, relaxed and calm.
Pre and Post Pregnancy Yoga
Pregnancy Yoga classes – a gentle practice, will explore yoga postures that support the Mum to be/new mum and help relieve common pregnancy/post pregnancy discomforts.
Our classes focus on relaxation, breathwork and gentle stretching for pregnancy and labour , supporting you and encouraging a calm and confident approach to your birthing experience/ new mum life. Suitable from 14 weeks of pregnancy. For post pregancy classes please get in touch. Classes run in 6 week blocks.
One to One or Family Yoga
Perhaps you want to practice from your home or workplace, alone, with a friend or family member. Louise can offer a variety of one to one, customised, yoga classes online or (depending on restrictions) in person at the studio.
