Story-telling, adventures and games

Louise teaches yoga with compassion, encouragement and mindfulness. During Children’s yoga with Louise the focus is mainly on Hatha Yoga or Physical Yoga and is delivered in a fun manner using the medium of story-telling, adventures and games.

During classes children will explore breathing techniques, physical Asana poses, partner work, singing, artwork and relaxations. They are fun, non-competitive and help kids to build self-esteem and become aware of their body through movement and stillness. In an increasingly busy and pressured world enabling children to learn techniques for selfhealth, relaxation, and inner fulfillment, they can navigate life’s challenges with a little more ease.

Yoga at an early age builds self-esteem and body awareness with a physical activity that’s noncompetitive. Fostering cooperation and compassion—instead of opposition—is a great gift to give our children. Suitable for children Age 7-11
